Privacy Policy

Summary

Rune-Vault is an offline personal organizer. The app does not collect any data. There is no account to create, no server Rune-Vault talks to, and nothing about your use of the app is sent anywhere.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Rune-Vault — scrolls, vault links, vault images and runes — is written to local storage on your device using the standard iOS file system and UserDefaults. None of it is transmitted, synced, or backed up by Rune-Vault to any external service.

• Scroll notes and their tags, colors and pin state
• Links you paste and images you choose for the vault
• Rune reminders and their dates, times and notes
• Your vault name and accent rune preference

Photos

When you add an image to your vault, Rune-Vault uses the system photo picker. The app only receives the image you explicitly select, and that image is copied into local app storage. Rune-Vault does not request full photo library access and does not read any image you do not choose.

Permissions

Rune-Vault does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location. The only system interaction beyond local storage is the photo picker described above.

Network activity

Rune-Vault makes no network requests of any kind. There are no advertising networks, no software development kits from outside companies, and no remote servers involved in running the app.

Data sharing

Because nothing leaves your device, Rune-Vault has nothing to share. No information is sold, rented, or passed to anyone.

Deleting your data

You can remove any individual scroll, vault item or rune from within the app. Typing SEAL on the Settings screen erases everything Rune-Vault has stored on your device. Deleting the app from your device also removes all of its data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
